Ako ay Pilipino is a group of young Pinoy volunteer writers who together wrote a coffee table book about Filipino inherent traits that can help him improve and uplift himself.
The book, Ako ay Pilipino, Noon at Ngayon, was written and published last November 2009 and relaunched this month. Yesterday, Sentro ng Katotohanan talked to Jane Odulio (one of the writers) and Hannah Veron (in charge of marketing), both of Ako ay Pilipino, about Pinoy traits and values such as Maginoo, Malasakit, Maganda, and Mahiyain, and how such can be used and harnessed to forward the nation.
