Sentro ng Katotohanan yesterday interviewed Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) Secretary General Gwendolyn Pang. We tackled the activities that the PNRC are undertaking to provide relief and rehabilitation to those affected by flooding that came with Typhoon Ondoy.

We also interviewed PAG-ASA forecaster Rene Paciente about the arriving typhoon (Pepeng) and its chance of hitting the country. We also discussed how they make their typhoon and flood forecasts so that we can understand the warnings provided by PAG-ASA.

Sentro features Mrs. Sonia Roco

Sentro ng Katotohanan will feature Mrs. Sonia Roco on its AM radio broadcast tomorrow, 8.30-9.30PM DWBL 1242KHz.

Mrs. Roco, is the widow of Senator Raul Roco. Mrs. Roco now leads the politacal party founded by his late husband, Aksyon Demokratiko, who recently threw its support behind the candidacy of Senator Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III.

Update: September 25, 2009
We are able to interview Mrs. Sonia Roco yesterday over the phone. We talked about her roots, her school days and her politics. We also talked about how she met Senator Raul Roco. Of course, we also talked about her endorsement of Senator Benigno Aquino III for the presidency.

Unfortunately, I did not receive the archived file of yesterday's broadcast. We will try to get the file soon and upload it for everyone to listen to.

Sentro to Feature Alex Lacson

Sentro ng Katotohanan will feature Alex Lacson on its broadcast tomorrow, Tuesday, 8.30-9.30PM, 1242KHz DWBL.

Alex Lacson is the author of the book "12 Little Things Every Filipino Can Do to Help Our Country". He started the Tuloy Pnoy movement which egged on Sen. Noynoy Aquino to run for President. Alex Lacson is a lawyer by profession.
